Funerary vessel. Embodied trauma. Refire.

The cathartic response to a chance meeting with the Trident (South London murder squad) family liaison officer attached to the death of Rio Macfarlane, my young neighbor, shot dead, as the result of mistaken identity. The memories of that time came flooding back. A pivotal event in the lives of his family, the whole community and personally, changing the course of my life.
